Hasso Plattner Ventures held its 5th Annual Forum on Entrepreneurship under a sunny sky at the campus of Hasso Plattner Institute. 300 interested entrepreneurs, investors, managers, scholars and top-athletes met in Potsdam-Babelsberg on Tuesday to discuss the topic: “Crisis? Don´t miss the Chance!" Next to overcoming an exceptional economic situation, the focus of interest lay on dealing with personal and athletic crisis. Speakers like Britta Steffen, Josef Ackermann or the much applauded Ketan Patel shared their views on the subject. During the forum "The most promising company launched in 2009 Award" was also presented. This year´s recipient was the Berlin based company Cytolon AG and its founder, Thomas Klein with their ingenious matching platform for cord blood stem cells. As in the previous year the participants were enthusiastic about the spirit and community during the conference – looking forward to next year!
