The bi-annual HPI Future SOC Lab Day is the venue where current research at the Lab is presented. Reports, posters, and presentations, provided by researchers, give peers and interested attendees insights into the research work at the HPI Future SOC Lab and expand the discussion network.
As memory technologies rapidly advance, system software and programming models must catch up at the software level for enabling energy-efficient systems. This Future SOC Lab day will focus mainly on energy and sustainability. The project Memento, in the context of the special priority programme SPP 2377, sets out to advance the current state of the art in this regard by exploiting energy-efficient storage placement strategies for disruptive memory systems.
